In practice, they make very different tradeoffs, and which one you should buy depends almost entirely on what kind of floors you have and how much you care about edge cleaning.

The mopping superiority is especially noticeable if you have a kitchen or dining area that sees regular spills. The front-access water tanks take some getting used to, but the shorter dock height means more placement options.
